Tasting notes
Colour
Ruby red.
Nose
Nutmeg, liquorice, vanilla and a light, elegant note of leather.
Palate
Rich and full, with warm cherry and plum and a fine, supple tannin that promises a long life.
Pairs with
Juicy roast and grilled red meat, mature cheeses. Also a wine for sipping on its own.
How it's made
Six weeks on the skins, then pressing and malolactic fermentation. Six months in stainless steel followed by six years in 400 l tonneaux.
